PITTSBURGH, February 6, 2019 — Recognizing the continued technology investment made by its members, the American Cable Association will host its 26th Annual Summit with the theme “We Connect.” Dr. Frank Luntz will once again join the ACA audience as one of ACA’s key speakers at #Summit26.

The Summit will be held on March 19-21, 2019 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C. Secure online registration is now live at www.acasummit.org.

“We are excited to announce both our ‘We Connect’ theme and Dr. Frank Luntz, who was invited once again at the overwhelming request of ACA members following his presentation at last year’s ACA-NCTC Independent Show,” ACA President and CEO Matthew M. Polka said.

“’We Connect’ reflects the vital role that independent broadband companies play in their communities – we connect our exhibitors with decision makers at member companies, we connect our customers with broadband services, and we connect our companies with Members of Congress,” Polka noted.

Dr. Frank Luntz is one of the most recognized global communicators. He will analyze how the current political landscape affects ACA members’ businesses, perceptions of customers and competitiveness and reveal how to engage customers in an ever-evolving digital world, Polka said.

Polka noted that ACA members will hold meetings both on Capitol Hill and at the Federal Communications Commission during ACA’s Summit to discuss key concerns of independent broadband and communications companies.

“Today’s independent broadband and communications company is the foundation in its community. Through continued investment in broadband, our ACA members have transformed Main Street businesses, expanded local educational resources, and created technology hubs. This is an important message to share with policymakers and regulators, and the 2019 Summit will showcase these initiatives,” he noted.
