CHICAGO, July 29, 2019 – ACA Connects members as broadband providers continue to look forward as they invest in smaller markets and rural and competitive areas, and provide transformative communications services. Yet at the same time, the future of broadband will be hotly debated in Washington, whether as part of ongoing open Internet advocacy by many sides or even as part of the 2020 presidential election.
That’s why ACA Connects is embracing these issues as it announced at this year’s Independent Show in Chicago that the theme for its 2020 ACA Connects Summit in Washington, D.C., will be “Focus on the Future!”
“The new year and the 2020 Summit bring into sharp focus the vision of our ACA Connects members to serve their unique markets with the best and fastest broadband possible,” ACA Connects President and CEO Matt Polka said. “And the 2020 Summit will give our members the opportunity to help Washington clearly see how vital they are in solving our country’s broadband needs and challenges.”
The ACA Connects Summit will be held March 17-19, 2020, at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. #Summit2020 will be the official social media hashtag for the event. Registration information will be made available soon at https://www.acasummit.org/
