Moving the Needle
ACA Connects represents independent communications providers in Washington, working to move the needle on the legislative and regulatory issues that affect the communications industry. Through ongoing engagement with Congress, federal agencies, and policymakers, the association helps bring the voice of independent operators to key discussions and decision-making processes.
ACA Connects YOU 2027 Schedule
Starting in 2027, ACA Connects will host three ACA Connects YOU events in Washington, D.C., providing members with multiple opportunities throughout the year to engage with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders.

ACA Connects YOU FAQs
ACA Connects YOU is a new approach America’s Communications Association is taking to our grassroots advocacy. We will hold three ACA Connects YOU events in Washington, D.C. every year that will connect our members with Members of Congress, policy makers and regulators who are shaping the future of our industry.
ACA Connects YOU events will be held in lieu of the annual March Summit.
We believe ACA Connects YOU will deliver more value, foster stronger relationships and even stronger steadfast advocacy for our members. With this change, our members will have more opportunities and greater flexibility to travel to Washington, D.C., to advocate on behalf of their companies and independent operators.
In addition, these gatherings will provide more in-depth, intimate, and strategic meetings with policymakers dealing with issues affecting our industry on a day-to-day basis. This will help keep up the momentum of our advocacy to an audience that is considering the issues affecting the future of communications policy in America.
The first ACA Connects YOU event will be held February 23-25, 2027, followed by events on May 18-20, 2027, and October 26-28, 2027. Dates are subject to Congress being in session.
These events are open to any ACA Connects member. Additionally, ACA Connects members serving the districts or states represented by Members of Congress participating in meetings at upcoming events may be invited to attend.
There is no registration fee to attend ACA Connects YOU. Attendees will be responsible for booking their own accommodations, with ACA Connects providing suggested hotels offering discounted rates to attendees.
We understand joining us in Washington, D.C., may not work for everyone’s schedules, budgets, or resources. However, you can help advance the interests of independent operators by meeting with lawmakers representing the communities you serve when they are on District Work Periods.
ACA Connects is here to assist our members with setting up meetings with Congressmen and Senators at your facilities and construction sites, at the openings of new service locations, and in the offices of your elected representatives. ACA Connects staffers are also available to join these meetings if you would like.
