February 27, 2025—ACA Connects President and CEO Grant Spellmeyer released the following statement regarding NCTA – The Internet & Television Association’s announcement that Michael Powell is retiring by years-end.
“Michael has made transformational contributions to America’s technological standing in the world. He will have a lasting legacy in our industry. I extend my sincere gratitude for his many years of service to our nation, including in the U.S. Army and as Chairman at the FCC. He will be greatly missed as the President and CEO of NCTA, and I thank him for being a great partner to ACA Connects in advocating for America’s broadband and cable providers.
