July 23, 2025—ACA Connects: America’s Communications Association released the following statement after the Senate voted to confirm Arielle Roth as the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information and the Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
“Congratulations to Arielle Roth as she takes the helm of NTIA,” said ACA Connects President and CEO Grant Spellmeyer. “We are grateful for her leadership on policies that have fostered more innovation and helped bridge the digital divide. Now that she is officially in place, we look forward to working with her to ensure that the BEAD program is a success and that NTIA advances its mission to bring affordable, reliable high-speed internet service, especially in rural and unserved communities.”
