August 22, 2024—At The Independent Show 2024, ACA Connects congratulated Schurz Communications for being recognized by Cablefax as the Independent Operator of the Year.

In Cablefax’s 2024 Top Ops Magazine, Reardon, who became President and CEO in February 2023, shared what makes the culture at Schurz Communications so special.
“My first job was doing what I call the ‘Listen and Learn Tour,’ where I spent the first three or four months just visiting [Schurz] locations,” Reardon said. “I was very impressed with how long a lot of people have been there —10, 20, 30 years — and how I kept hearing the world love, ‘I love the company, ‘I love my job.’”
