
March 4, 2025—ACA Connects: America’s Communications Association today appointed Michael Weening to its Board of Directors. Since 2022, Weening has served as president and CEO of Calix, the leading software, cloud, and managed services company that enables broadband providers to transform into experience providers that dominate the markets they serve. Weening first joined Calix in 2016.

In addition to being Calix CEO, Weening is also a member of its Board of Directors, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading growth, strategy and transformation to both roles. He joined Calix from Salesforce where he served as the senior vice president of Global Customer Success and senior vice president, Japan and Asia-Pacific and globally. Prior to Salesforce, Weening held transformation roles at Bell Canada and Microsoft in Europe and North America.
Weening’s election to the ACA Connects Board was announced today during the broadband trade association’s annual Summit in Washington, D.C., which connects broadband and video providers from across the country with influential lawmakers, regulators, and policy experts.
