May 19, 2026—America’s Communications Association (ACA Connects) today announced that Jim Holanda, Chief Executive Officer of Cable One, will take the stage for a fireside chat at The Independent Show on July 27, 2026, at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Holanda will participate in a fireside chat with President and CEO of America’s Communications Association Grant Spellmeyer.

“Jim Holanda brings a valued combination of real-world operational experience and strong executive leadership to the broadband and video industry,” said Spellmeyer. “I’m looking forward to a great conversation with him at The Independent Show, where he’ll share what is driving his decision-making as the new CEO of Cable One. With more than 35 years of experience in the cable and broadband industry, Holanda brings deep industry expertise and proven strategy and operations leadership to Cable One. Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Astound Broadband from 2011 to 2025.
Before his tenure at Astound and its predecessor companies, Holanda was Chief Executive Officer of Choice Cable TV of Puerto Rico and previously served as President of Patriot Media of Central New Jersey. He began his career at Comcast Corporation, where he spent 10 years, followed by five years at Charter Communications, Inc., holding a range of accounting, finance, business and operations leadership roles.
The Independent Show will take place July 26–29 at the Yacht & Beach Club Convention Center at Walt Disney World in Florida.
