Brian Hurley Named to FCC Consumer Advisory Committee

By Spellmeyer, ACA Connects President & CEO

Hello,

I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at the Summit in a few weeks. We have an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, including three FCC Commissioners and Assistant Secretary of Commerce Alan Davidson.

Today, I’m writing to also inform you that our Chief Regulatory Counsel, Brian Hurley, has just been named again to the FCC’s Consumer Advisory Committee.

The Consumer Advisory Committee is a select group of 28 people who provide advice and recommendations to the FCC. In previous terms, Brian has used this appointment to share the concerns of ACA Connects Members directly to the FCC, including on broadband labels.

This committee will meet for the first time this year on April 4. We will keep you updated on its agenda and how ACA Connects can continue to be a top advocate for you to leaders in Washington, D.C.

Thank you and hope to see you at the Summit!
