Hotwire Communications

American Cable Association Member: Hotwire Communications

At its founding in 2000, Hotwire Communications set out with the goal of providing simple and convenient solutions for cable TV, Internet, and phone service to multi-tenant and multi-dwelling communities.

After careful research and consideration of the long term viability of copper based cable networks, our company invested in the future-proof promise of fiber optics including Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) technology and between 2002 and 2005, began building a direct fiber optic cable infrastructure into every new construction project.

Always on the cutting edge, Hotwire Communications was one of the first service providers in the United States to offer IPTV Video or Internet Protocol Television Video to its customers, changing the dynamic of service delivery and usage to our customers. In 2014, we were also the first and only company to offer Gigabit Internet speeds to customers in Florida.

Each year our markets of service continue to expand and now include a majority of the North and Southeastern United States, including Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, and Ohio to name a few. We are a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and Franchised Cable Operator, giving us the ability to construct in the public rights of way.
